There is a reason to celebrate: The Austrian Dictionary celebrates 70 years. Under the motto “Austria from A to Z”, we had the pleasure of organizing the birthday party for the Austrian federal publisher Schulbuch at the MQ Libelle. After a visual journey through time, ORF presenter Teresa Vogl led us through the evening. This was characterized by a wide variety of highlights: the limited ÖWB special edition, designed by Viennese artist Boicut, was presented and poetry slammer Elias Hirschl surprised the guests with his humorous A-Z performance. Furthermore, the guests had an exclusive right to vote and could save a word in the dictionary throughout the evening – the vote between Kinderjause and the Unaussprechlichen ended in a tie and thus both words were saved.
This way to experience some visual time travel
